Heh heh, I really need to post here on LJ more. What with Sweeney Todd coming out soon, I'll try to post as many ST updates as I can, for all you ST and Rickman fans... especially for all the hens out there. *snort*
But the original intention of this post is ST-related... not the movie, mind you, but the revival. A couple years back, the cast of the Sweeney Todd revival did a couple of skits - and I'm swiftly becoming obsessed with them. For instance... I'll have them play in the background while I'm typing... In fact, it's playing right now. I'm totally not obsessed - really! But here are the skits, if anyone's interested in viewing them:

I admit, some of the jokes will seem obscure, such as the coffin. Just go with the flow. *snort*
Btw, I'm in the process of forking over money for LJ, so I can make it pretty. *beams*

*THUD*
FINALLY, some news! *dances* Mike Binder has finally updated his MySpace, and has given the notice that the John Gissing DVD is finally finished, and that it should be ready for purchase in the next couple of weeks.
*dies*
I was not one of the lucky few who have had a chance to see the movie (dammit), but all I have to do is wait a couple more weeks... I can make it, really, I can! *shifty*
Here's the link to his MySpace blog: http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseac
It doesn't really say much about the actual DVD - just that it's getting released soon, soooo...
*throws confetti and dances in it*

You heard me right. A freaking Harry Potter theme park is opening up in Universal Studios, Island Adventures, in Orlando.
*dies*
It's opening in late 2009, and right now I'm so glad I live in Florida. They'll be creating a Hogsmede, a Forbidden Forest, and a Hogwarts. I think there may be even more, but it hasn't been announced yet. One of the things I'm most interested in is that they'll be creating a "state-of-the-art attraction that will bring the magic, characters, and story of Harry Potter to life."
The characters?
As in Snape?
Interesting.... :D

Yes! This is my first journal entry. It does seem kind of daunting, since this is my first time here, and I have absolutely zero friends, but whatever. I'm just here to write my feelings, tell my experiences, and squee over the sheer awesomeness of Alan Rickman. :D
So, I had a rather funny conversation the other day with my cousin. You see, he is a major fan of AR's as well. He he doesn't care what people think about him because of this. Because he's cool like that. But anywho, we were talking about why Americans have been deprived of Snow Cake for so long. Yes, I realize it was releases in New York, but I DON'T. LIVE. IN. NEW. YORK. >_O Which sucks, because that's where AR goes when he comes here to America. Either in NY or somewhere in California. What about Florida, Alan? Give your Florida fans some love! (Unless he's come here without my knowledge. I'll be so sad if he did, because I missed him...)
Ack, I'm going off on tangents again.
So, my cousin and I were talking, and he said, "We should TOTALLY go to London and stalk him."
Haha, like I haven't heard that plan before from any Rickmaniac.
But he started to get all into it, saying where we could get the money, and it was faintly creepy, the way he was planning it out. And then I started to get into it. :\ But it was so much fun. :D
I highly doubt we'll actually go there to STALK him, but we might go to just do some touristy stuff, and maybe casually pop by some of his "haunts," see if we can't catch a glimpse of him.... :D
